On the 20th of July, Ayiera Initiative held Slum Footie Tournament. This social event provides a platform for slum residents to learn, deliberate, and discuss the most prevalent challenges facing them in their daily lives, to understand the challenges and develop relevant solutions to some of these prevalent problems.

Ayiera Initiative and German Doctors Nairobi, through Baraka health centre have partnered to undertake a free monthly community health outreach program for Korogocho slum dwellers.
